SATISH ASHOK POTDAR
Satish holds a strong belief that art is a powerful means of expressing human emotions. Hailing from Solapur, a city in Maharashtra, he embarked on his artistic journey by pursuing an Art Teacher Diploma. Driven by his passion for fine arts, he went on to earn a degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious JJ Institute of Applied Arts in Mumbai. Thereafter, he had the honor of studying filmmaking at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune,
a coveted opportunity that allowed him to hone his skills in this field.
As a Production Designer, he considers it his top priority to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also capture the essence of the story being told. He accomplishes this through careful attention to details such as sets, costumes, characters,
and their appearance. He firmly believes that the best way to learn the art of cinema is through hands-on experience.
In addition to his impressive background in production design, this versatile artist has
also garnered extensive experience in interior design and graphic design. He has even directed and produced several award-winning short and feature films, both nationally and internationally. Through his work with Three Colours Design Studio, he aims to utilize art, film, and human connections to tell compelling stories that resonate with people on a deeply emotional level.
PRASHANT DESHMANE
Prashant is a passionate artist hailing from Kolhapur, a city renowned for its artistic brilliance. He followed his love for the art and craft by joining the J J Institute of Applied Arts in Mumbai, earning a degree in fine arts, and further pursued his Masters's in Art Direction and Production Design from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India in Pune.
However, Prashant's approach towards films goes beyond mere entertainment. He perceives cinema as a medium that can emotionally touch and inspire people through its artistic expression. As a production designer, he meticulously takes into account the design of time and space to create visually breathtaking films that leave a lasting impact on the audience.
Through his involvement in numerous short film projects and contribution to various Hindi, Rajasthani, Bengali, and Telugu language films, Prashant has refined his skills and developed an eye for intricate details. He brings films and sets to life by focusing on design aspects such as colours, forms, and costumes.
Today, with his Three Colours Design Studio, Prashant aspires to revolutionize the world of production design and push it toward the future.
